Pinstrosiversary Winner!

It's here! It's here! 1 year ago we started Pinstrosity and we can't believe how it has grown and all the friends we've made along the way.

We sure enjoyed seeing everyone's submissions to the Pinstrosiversary Challenge and have enjoyed seeing all the feedback and fun. We used random.org to help us draw the winning submission and the winner is:

Here in the next little while we'll have a post up all about the winning project and it's awesome author. Stay tuned for that!

Thank you all so much for sending us your wonderful projects. It gave us all some great ideas for future projects. We had such a fun and good response to this!

We just thought we'd show you what the prize list is for this challenge. Many of these prizes were inspired by pins on Pinterest. Some of these you'll find on our next challenge/give away prize list...some are only here for this run. The winner will get to pick two items off this list and then we'll make it for them and send it on it's happy way.

1. Cork Earring Holder (or mini cork board)
This comes with a case of pearl pins to place in the corks to hang the earrings on.
 2. A one-of-a-kind handcarved crochet hook.
The size of hook can be chosen and Cameron will carve one of these little beauties for you out of native New Mexican desert wood.
 3. Bib Necklace
Emilee makes beautiful bib necklaces from various fabrics, buttons, and brooches. These necklaces are quite in style and liven up any outfit.

 4. E-reader/tablet case/cover.
A three pocket case that can be made to fit any e-reader/ipad/tablet.

5. A chunky crocheted wavy scarf.
We ran outside to grab a photo of the scarf and it's FREEZING here...so you get my goofy "Holy shnike! It's cold!" grimace/smile and my scrunched shoulders. So ignore me. But there's the scarf!
6. Man or Woman's Apron
Woman's Apron: Vintage Style Apron
Man's Apron: Manly Apron
Cameron, the manly food warrior. He just now came up with that name and he's very proud of it.

7. The Pinstrositeers' 30 Favorite Recipes
A cookbook of Emilee and Marquette's go-to recipes (along with some of our running commentary mixed in). Nothing fancy really...just some of our very favorites. Everyone loves new recipes, right?
(No photo...just imagine an awesome cookbook).

8. Carved Wooden Spoons
The spoons featured above are made from Alligator Juniper (the light spoon) and Catclaw Acacia (the darker spoon).

9. Snap Happy Clutch Purse

10. A $20 Giftcard to Amazon. I'd love to say we made that...but we're not Amazons.

Thank you again for helping this year to be AWESOME! We've loved every step of the way and we're excited to see what this next year will bring.
