Show and Tell Saturday: Crochet Pins Tested

I've been on a bit of a crochet kick lately. There are so many awesome free patterns out there! I just thought I'd share some of the ones I've tried out. I consider myself a beginner crocheter, so if you do too then give these a try! The were each pretty easy to follow.

She has great instructions on how to do the bobble stitch! This was my very favorite hat for Darrow, he wore it everywhere. The little ears bounce when he turned his head.

I made this one a while back for Emilee

Darrow and I were going to watch the final scrimmage up at WNMU (where my friend's husband plays), so I decided to make a purple and gold mustang hat for Darrow to sport. I used the unicorn hat pattern and just didn't make the horn.

(this one is waiting for it's adorable person to be born...so a chair leg had to work for pictures)

Using Peaches and Cream 100% cotton yarn

I just decided to make it patriotic, using Peaches and Cream 100% cotton yarn, rather than Christmasy

Again, using summer/patriotic colors rather than Christmas using Peaches and Cream 100% cotton yarn.

  1. Darrow is so stinking cute. I wish I could follow a crochet pattern, I'd gobble that lamb hat up. Maybe I'll be able to find a knit version :)
