There are a number of ways you can contact and connect with Pinstrosity! Choose your favorite and stay connected.
Email:
Have a Pinstrosity you want to submit? Shoot it over to us in an email. Send us the link to the original pin (can link to Pinterest or the original source), a photo of how yours turned out, and your story. Did you have to change anything from the original instructions to get it to work? Did you have any accidents with it? We want to know what happened! Then if you remember, rate it on the GCT Fail Scale!
We are picky with the Pin Wins we post. Most of the Pin Wins we will be posting are showing how to turn a previous Pinstrosity we posted into a Pin Win. If you have a Pin Win you want featured online you can send it to us, but we don't guarantee that it will get posted. But, if you do have a Pin Win definitely submit it to Pin-n-Tell.
Please Read: To protect your photos and our content, the Pinstrosity watermark will be placed on the photographs of the submitted Pinstrosities unless we are directed otherwise by the submitter or the photo is submitted with a watermark present. We are working hard to ensure that credit is given to the correct people and that pictures are not taken from our site and used for other purposes.
We reserve the right to use all photos and content sent to us for advertising and posts.

I tried submitting the picture I forgot to your email address and it wouldn't let me. Could you please email from my submission and I can reply with the picture?
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry you had trouble. I'll look into the settings and see if anything needs to be changed. I just replied to your email and hopefully it will work this time.
DeleteI'm trying to send my pintrosity story, but Gmail is telling me that pintrosity@gmail.com does not exist. :/ Any help?
ReplyDeleteDon't forget that first 's' in our name (Pinstrosity).
DeleteAs a hair stylist, I'd like all photos of any hair stylings to submit a "just finished- take the picture" shot, and a four hour later shot. The former currently exists but for the sake of my profession, I want the latter shots too :)
ReplyDeleteHere's one for you. I spotted this on Pinterest, claiming it was made using an ice tray, and I don't believe it. http://pinterest.com/pin/211035932509709192
ReplyDeleteI can find no original source for the photo, either. So my theory is that it was created by turning a chocolate bar over, putting the strawberrys on top, then pouring chocolate over. But I'd love to see you test it!

DeleteMy first attempt at home made laundry soap was a pintrosity! Second time, using the correct soda product worked.
ReplyDeleteBlog: http://forwhatitsworth-jeannie.blogspot.com/2012/02/bucket-of-bubbles.html Second attempt was quite successful: http://forwhatitsworth-jeannie.blogspot.com/2012/05/laundry-soap-round-2.html
Does anyone know if there is a site that accepts pictures of things that turned out?? Or could I send those here too?
ReplyDeleteThanks, Michelle
Michelle, you can send those to us as well, we don't feature those as often however we would love to see what you have. Generally in order for us to feature a Pin Win it needs to be something that turned out fantastic despite all odds, as well as if the Pin Win story has a Pinstrosity past, or just a fabulous story. We would love to see what you have done! Thanks for reading!

I do not have a picture of what I did but I do have a pintrosity story! Here is the original pin http://pinterest.com/pin/248049891947011037/ . You turn the cup cake pan upside down and then put cookie dough on it. It is supposed to make little cook cups. I thought that would be great for ice cream! No! I tried 3 times! First time - way too much. It ran down the pan and covered the whole bottom and then ran off the sides and all over the oven. So I tried it again and still same thing. Too much even though I used so much less. Third time. No charm. Just looked like a huge mess again. I will not try it ever again. :( It was such a good idea .. or so I thought. XO FRANKIE

Hi, I would just like to point out that the sugar free recipe does actually say that it does a weird consistency. the pictures on the website are not that different from the ones given by the woman who tried the recipe. Obviously the taste bit is a little more difficult to assess...
ReplyDeleteI don't have a pic, but I did have one Pintrosity. Last year I tried making the cinnamon rolls in my waffle maker. I had to throw my waffle maker away because I never could get it clean again. Whenever I see this pin, I give a warning from my experience.
