Put the contents of the pumpkin (perhaps after you've rescued the seeds for roasting outside within a significant distance from the pumpkin and scrape as much of the gooey stuff out of the pumpkin as you can. If you wash the pumpkin out inside, I imagine the squirrels will be more attracted to the aromatic pile of goo than the empty pumpkin shell. I haven't tested it, but it's worth a try.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6299578764487881408.post-16800095135139133242012-10-19T08:16:33.816-06:002012-10-19T08:16:33.816-06:00Painting pumpkins is a great alternative to carvin...Painting pumpkins is a great alternative to carving them when you're working with little kids. The little busters were practically inside the pumpkin before they got done with it. It was very funny, actually!

BTW, nice job on the chevrons!

Jennie in OhioAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6299578764487881408.post-34396722860770208392012-10-18T20:28:49.995-06:002012-10-18T20:28:49.995-06:00Hahahahaha I love it!
